Principal's Message
Dear Preschool Families,
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Early Learning Centers of Howell. I am extremely proud and honored to serve as the Principal of the Newbury location, the very school where my career in Howell began as a 1st grade teacher in 2003.
We are incredibly proud of our district preschool program and the positive impact it has on our students. Through the Universal Preschool Expansion grant, the district has expanded our program into two early learning centers.
Our preschool programs are specifically tailored to meet the developmental needs of children aged 3-5. We provide a play-based curriculum that encourages active exploration, creativity, and social interaction. Our dedicated team of educators are committed to fostering a love of learning, building strong foundations in literacy and numeracy through play and exploration, and promoting the development of essential life skills. With a focus on individualized attention and a supportive environment, we strive to unlock each child's potential and set them up for success. Our goal is to foster independence, build confidence, and empower every child to reach their full potential.
Our website will serve as a hub of information at the school and district level, keeping you informed about upcoming district events and providing valuable resources to our families. From our homepage, you can easily access the district calendar, our food service MySchoolBucks link and additional information. We believe that collaboration between school and home is crucial for the success of our students. We invite you to actively engage with us through use of the classroom teacher's ClassDojo application. In addition to your classroom teacher’s communication platform, please be sure to keep your contact information on the Parent Portal up to date to remain informed on important school updates.
